His Girlfriend Quit Her Job, Left Him To Cover Their Bills Alone, And Wanted To Be A “Stay-At-Home Girlfriend,” So He Threatened To Break Up With Her Unless She Finds A New Position

She claimed that dealing with toxic coworkers was just too mentally draining for her and that she didn’t want to find herself in that same situation again.

Then, his girlfriend even admitted that she just wanted to be a “stay-at-home girlfriend.”

“I told her she is insane for saying that,” he recalled.

Plus, he finally put his foot down and told his girlfriend that if she didn’t find a new job, he would be ending their relationship.

This caused her to totally freak out on him, too. His girlfriend even said that men are the ones who should have to “take care” of their partners.

So, ever since the argument, his girlfriend has been furious at him, and they haven’t been speaking very much.

And now, he can’t help but wonder if threatening to break up with her if she didn’t find a job was really too harsh or not.

Do you think men should be solely responsible for caring for their partners? Or is it ridiculous that his girlfriend expected to be a stay-at-home girlfriend? How would you have reacted in his shoes?
