His Stepmom Tried To Get Him To Tell His Mom That She Couldn’t Be At His High School Graduation, But He Told His Stepmom To Just Not Attend Since His Mom Was Definitely Going To Be There

His dad and stepmom have become especially hateful towards his mom after she showed no sympathy towards their fertility struggles.

They’ve tried to turn him against his mom for years, but he’s tried his best to remain neutral and has even become closer to his mom.

While his parents have gone years without interacting with each other for more than a few minutes, they may have to at his graduation.

“I’m graduating from high school in a couple of months, and my dad and stepmom brought up that my stepmom doesn’t feel like she should be around my mom and does not want to be there with my mom,” he added.

“They told me they feel it would be best if I make it clear to mom that she can’t be there. I told them my mom [would] be there.”

When his stepmom continued to say she wouldn’t be in the same room as his mom, he told her she shouldn’t go to the graduation and that he wouldn’t beg for her to go. He firmly said his mom would be there, and his stepmom would not make him change his mind.

Should he feel bad for telling his stepmom not to come to his graduation, or is he being reasonable?
