“That is when we heard it. Slow and heavy footsteps down the hallway with the sound of chains rattling behind it, again with the horrible smell of rotting flesh,” he shared.
Because he and Scott both have strong faith, Scott called out to the paranormal entity and invoked their faith to scare the entity away.
Luckily, it worked instantly. The apartment was quiet, the smell disappeared again, and the house no longer felt like someone was watching them.
Scott told him that nothing weird had happened in his apartment since then. It seemed that the paranormal being left and hadn’t returned.
Later, Scott researched his apartment complex and learned that quite a few years ago, a woman who’d been living a few apartments down from Scott’s died in her apartment.
He and Scott weren’t sure if this woman was connected to the terrifying experience they had when Scott first moved into his apartment, but it was unforgettable.
