He tried defending himself, telling his ex that he didn’t mention anything negative about her beyond the affair and didn’t intend to ruin their relationship; he just wanted to tell their son the truth.
“I just told her that I felt guilty hiding the truth from our son for so long and that he was going to find out sooner rather than later,” he recalled.
“That was the end of our conversation.”
Was he wrong to tell his son about his ex-wife’s affair, or did his son deserve to know the truth, even if his ex-wife didn’t approve?
