When they returned to the bar, they got their drinks and sat down at a table to talk. After chatting for a while, he excused himself to the restroom. Upon coming back from the bathroom, he kissed her without warning.
Miranda was mortified and didn’t know what to do. After they finished their drinks, he kissed her a second time.
Then, he asked her if she wanted another drink. She told him that she was really tired and wanted to go home. At that point, they had only been at the bar for about 30 minutes.
He drove her home and walked her to her front door, saying that he had a great time with her and would love to go on another date. He tried to kiss her again, but she dodged it, making him plant his lips on her cheek instead.
She politely informed him that she was not interested in pursuing anything further with him and thanked him for taking her out.
Soon after he left, she received a text message from him. He restated that he wanted to go out with her again even though she had already turned him down.
She tried to be polite and told him that she was too busy. The next day, he invited her to brunch one weekend.
Usually, Miranda did not like to ghost people because she thought it was disrespectful. In this case, however, the guy persisted after she told him no twice, so she was forced to ghost him.
