Most people go into college expecting a fresh start, with new friends, new freedom, and much less drama than in high school. But for TikToker @chronicswagdisorder, it hasn’t happened that way.
She has been on her college campus for three weeks now, and she is appalled by how the bullying has escalated to terrifyingly dangerous levels.
She was told that college wouldn’t be anything like high school, but so far, her experience has been exactly the same, if not worse.
“These people can say…more horrible things because they’re older, and they’ve learned more terrible things throughout their lives. They can verbally demolish you as a person. Not only that, but they’re at the age where they can drive, and they have vehicles,” she pointed out.
During her first week on campus, she was already getting bullied, harassed, and stalked from the main entrance of her campus to the hallway back to her dorm.
She was walking back to her dorm, and these bullies followed her in their car all the way there, shouting heinous things at her. They turned around four different times to come back and harass her from each side of the road.
She was on the sidewalk, and at one point, the car pulled up right next to her. The bullies honked their horn and insinuated that she was a clown. They also called her a bunch of slurs and tried to run her down.
She has been bullied in middle school and high school before, but never before have bullies attempted to run her over with a vehicle.
Of course, she reported the bullying, but her case was closed, and nothing was ever done about it.

People on her campus have been jumped for various reasons. Violent fights often break out, and someone was even killed on campus a few years ago by another person who didn’t even attend the college.
“I think there’s been valid fights over the past few years, but there’s been several times where people are just flat out beating people up because they don’t like them, or how they identify, or just anything—the shirt that they’re wearing,” she concluded.
In the comments section, many TikTok users could relate and described their own experiences with bullies in every stage of life because they sadly never go away.
“I excitedly entered the workforce after getting bullied in college and was rudely awakened by the realization that it continues into the workforce,” stated one user.
“I experienced my first actual mean girl in my first year of college. She made fun of my outfit in a super backhanded way, and I was so stunned that people like her existed that she didn’t even hurt my feelings,” commented another.
“Yes, I was so excited to come to college, only to still be made fun of for my looks. Like this is part of why I don’t like leaving my dorm. I got harassed like two weeks ago, and it still hasn’t left my mind,” shared a third.
