The other night, TikToker @krod0521 had a dream about what happened to her mother when she was younger, based on a story that her mother told her about her grandfather.
So, @krod0521’s grandfather was always a rebel and a free spirit. When he was young, he traveled from city to city and picked up odd jobs.
At 19 years old, he ran out of money and took a train. He ended up meeting two ladies on the train. They were super nice and offered him food.
He asked them if they knew of any work or a place to stay. The ladies told him that they would point him in the right direction once he got off at their stop.
They brought him to an open field. A man came out, his face concealed by his hood. He offered @krod0521’s grandfather $500 for his firstborn child.
“My grandfather laughed it off because at 19, he had no plans on having kids,” said @krod0521. “He said imma take this $500 and run, and this man ain’t never going to see me again or these two little old white ladies.”
So, he agreed, and they parted ways. Later on, her grandfather met her grandmother, and they settled down in Alabama. Soon after, her grandmother got pregnant with @krod0521’s aunt, the oldest of six kids.
When her aunt was about two weeks old, they received a knock at the door. It was the hooded man, and he said he was there for his firstborn child. Her grandfather slammed the door in his face.
The next child to be born was @krod0521’s other aunt. A few weeks after she was born, the man came knocking again to collect the firstborn.

Well, @krod0521’s grandfather got curious and handed over his child. The man looked at the baby and said he didn’t want her because there was something wrong with her. Later on, it was discovered that @krod0521’s aunt actually had some mental issues.
When @krod0521’s mom was born, the man didn’t come until she was about four or five years old. Her grandfather presented him with @krod0521’s mom. The man wrote a symbol on her head and left.
A week later, her mom fell terribly ill. No one knew what was wrong with her. She couldn’t eat, sleep, or use the bathroom. Her parents turned to the church for help.
For seven days and seven nights, the church members prayed over @krod0521’s mom with a white sheet and lit white candles.
On the seventh day of prayer, @krod0521’s uncle was sitting on the stairs when he witnessed @krod0521’s mom throw up. When she threw up, a snake came out and slithered right out the front door. After that, @krod0521’s mom was better. But two weeks later, the pastor died.
“So, my grandmother went and tried to give her condolences to the family, and his wife said, ‘Don’t ever come back here. My husband sacrificed his life to save your child’s soul,'” said @krod0521.
