When TikToker Emily Morrow (@reallyverycrunchy) checked into a hotel, she probably expected nothing more than bad coffee or a noisy neighbor.
Instead, she bore witness to the ultimate betrayal after learning that a man had sold his fiancée's pet goat without her knowing.
"If your name is Sarah and you're from Greenville, Texas, and you're engaged to a guy named Justin who has a scruffy beard and wears one of those nylon straps with sunglasses on it, you might want to call off the wedding, sweetheart," Emily said.
Emily had been staying at the same hotel as Justin. She was sitting in the lobby on one of the double-sided couches when she overheard the conversation between Justin and his friend.
Her back was facing him, and she was trying to read her book, Anne of Green Gables, but of course, she couldn't focus.
All she heard was Justin recounting to his friend about how he had told Sarah that her pet goat had died. But the truth was that he had sold the goat because he had been so sick and tired of taking care of it.
He went out to the field and dug a hole with his backhoe to make it look like he had buried the goat there.
"Sarah, he is lying to you. You should go check. I'm telling you, there ain't no goat in that hole," stated Emily. The worst part was that he was using the money he made from selling the goat to buy new boots for himself, according to the caption of the video.
The video quickly went viral, with TikTok users across the country playfully inserting themselves into the drama. It's definitely got countless women side-eyeing their significant others!

"Hi, I'm Shannon (not Sarah) from North Carolina (not Texas), married to Ted (not Justin). Looking at my goats and immediately getting mad at my husband for the possibility," commented one user.
"Hi, I'm Morgan (not Sarah). I live in Georgia (not Texas), dating a guy named Cameron (not Justin), and we don't have any goats, but now I'm mad about my missing goat," stated another.
"My man is in so much trouble for selling my goat, even though I live in Michigan and his name isn't Justin and I never had a goat," chimed in a third.
