Just when TikToker Tanya (@tanyaslehria) thought she had found something real, she was quickly alerted to the fact that her new man was a walking red flag wrapped in empty promises.

So, she matched with a guy on the dating app Hinge, and they started seeing each other. After about three weeks, he told her that he really liked her and wanted to be exclusive. Tanya was ecstatic and beside herself with joy.

The next day, she went on Hinge to delete her dating profile. But then, she noticed that he wasn't in her matches anymore. She assumed that he had already deleted his profile. She brought it up at dinner the following day. He told her that he had deleted it.

Five days later, Tanya was at work when she got a call from her friend Shreya. She told her that she saw her new man's profile on Hinge. He had even updated his photos.

That night, Tanya told him that she wanted to talk about something. But before she could confront him about it, he told her that his friend saw her profile on Hinge.

Tanya was in shock and could not believe that he was trying to flip the narrative around on her. She informed him that she had deleted the app. He started making up an extravagant story complete with timelines and random details.

He also kept telling her how much he liked her and only wanted to be with her. A few weeks later, she confronted him again at dinner, and he came clean. Obviously, she ended things with him. There were just too many red flags that she was unable to move past.

So, if someone wants to be exclusive with you but gets back on the dating apps five days later, don't spend any more time and energy on them.

Several TikTok users shared similar dating experiences they had with guys in the comments section.
