In the spirit of Halloween, here’s a spooky story that’ll have you sleeping with one eye open and double-checking every dark corner of the house.
TikToker Jordan (@jordsashleiigh) is sharing a story about how a guy’s wife started peeking at him, and it quickly spiraled into the plot of a horror movie.
“At first, it was pranks,” she explained. “So, he’d be like, in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he’d notice or feel like someone was watching him, and he’d turn around, and it was his wife.”
She would hide behind walls or under tables and would never say anything when he caught her. She just ran away. It always scared him and made him jump.
Then, she began doing it in more obscure places. For instance, she would climb into an ottoman and just have her eyes peeking out.
It started to really freak him out, so he shouted at her to stop. For a while, the peeking seemed to have stopped, but at dinner one night, she mentioned that she was getting better at it, so he didn’t notice it anymore.
“One time, when he was in the bathroom, he heard this weird sound,” Jordan said. “He gets in the shower, he’s locked the bathroom door, and when he turns after being in the shower for god knows how many minutes, she’s peeking around the curtain at him, and her hair and her face are soaking wet.”
This truly spooked him, and he yelled at her to stop this nonsense. She left, and he locked the bathroom door again because he was too scared to be around his wife.
He stayed in the bathroom for about 45 minutes. Suddenly, he started hearing heavy breathing. He thought that she was next to the bathroom door, but he was too scared to look underneath it in case she was peeking at him again.

Then, he noticed that the cupboard door in the bathroom was slightly ajar. She had been standing in the cupboard, staring at him for 45 minutes. She looked excited that he had finally spotted her.
He ran to the bedroom, grabbed his bag, got in his car, and drove away. He went to his brother’s house and tried to explain that his wife’s peeking had gone beyond a simple prank. He decided to stay the night at his brother’s house.
They were in the lounge, about to get ready for bed, when she showed up at the window. She was just staring at them, and there were saliva marks on the window. They screamed, and she disappeared.
He called his wife’s mom to bring up his concerns, but she didn’t want to talk about it. He continued staying at his brother’s house for a while.
At one point, he needed to get more clothes. His brother accompanied him back to his house. When they arrived, the curtains were closed, and it was dark.
His brother opened some curtains, and they saw that the place was trashed. As they went upstairs to get the clothes, they smelled the stench of rot and decay. In the bedroom, photos were strewn all over the place.
When he lifted a pile of clothes, an animal’s eyeball rolled out from underneath. The cupboards contained eyes of all different shapes and sizes from various animals.
Suddenly, he heard a raspy breathing. He looked under the bed and found her hiding there. Her hands were covered in blood because she was holding a shard of broken glass.
He told her that he just wanted to help her. She extended her hand, and he reached out to grab it, but she proceeded to stab him with the glass.
“At that moment, he knew that wasn’t his wife anymore, and they just ran down the stairs,” Jordan said. “He said that he felt like she was running after them, but they didn’t want to turn around, and they got in the car and drove away.”
He was too frightened to go back to his brother’s house, so he ended up booking a hotel room, but he still feels like he is being watched and haunted by his wife.
