A year after TikToker Alex (@alexfullofgrace) got married, her husband left for a trip and never came back. He ghosted his own wife and broke up with her over the phone.

This month would’ve been her three-year wedding anniversary, so in honor of that, she is now sharing all the crazy things that happened at their wedding in Brazil.

On the day of the wedding, a creepy uncle from her now ex-husband’s side of the family touched her butt during the family photos after the ceremony. That same creepy uncle’s wife also tried to hide her suit for the wedding.

“She saw all of my husband’s suits, my suit, and my wedding dress being ironed and steamed by my mother-in-law and knew that these were wedding clothes for the wedding in the morning,” Alex explained.

“And because we were all staying at my mother-in-law’s house, she went into the laundry room where all these things were hanging, grabbed my suit in particular, and took it in her room and put it in her closet to try to hide it.”

Alex happened to see her trying to be sneaky, so of course, she asked someone to help her get her suit back. When they confronted the wife, she claimed that she thought it was her husband’s suit.

Her brother-in-law also caused a lot of issues. He was mad at Alex and her husband because of something he had done in the days leading up to the wedding. They had tried to confront him about it respectfully and resolve the problem, but he wasn’t having it.

He was so mad about being the best man that he decided not to give a best man speech at all and didn’t tell them until it was time for speeches.

Later, Alex found out that her two sister-in-laws pulled the wedding photographers aside during the wedding reception and had their own personal photo shoots with their partners.

“I did not know about this until we got our wedding photos back and I saw the dozens and dozens of photos that they took, and apparently, nobody had a problem with this,” Alex said.

“I was the weird one for thinking that this was insane.”

Then, four days before the wedding, she learned that her father planned to show up, even though he had told her that he wasn’t coming.

She had to call and tell him that there was no space for him, just because he had suddenly changed his mind. He declared that he was going to show up no matter what, and she could have security kick him out if she wanted.

Lastly, nobody on her husband’s side of the family got them any wedding presents. Only a total of three people did, including his grandmother, who knitted socks for them. Alex doesn’t really even care about the presents, but it was the principle of the situation.

Looking back, the wedding chaos feels almost symbolic. She was lucky to have been given an opportunity to escape from such a horrible family.

@alexfullofgrace

Honestly, I havent really had many people to talk to about this. My inlaws made me feel insane for thinking these were issues. And its taken a LONG time to realize they were wrong! And that feels good. So now I’m ready to finally share. #inlaws #weddingday #weddingnightmare #divorce #inlawproblems
