Uncovering a spouse’s affair is devastating, no matter the circumstances, but some details turn an already painful situation into something genuinely sickening.
This 33-year-old woman caught her 34-year-old husband cheating on her over the weekend. She saw a DoorDash text message on her husband’s phone stating food had been delivered to an address that wasn’t theirs.
Her husband had deleted the app from his phone, so she reinstalled it and opened it. The very first address saved to her husband’s account was an apartment listed as “A’s apartment.”
That day she made the discovery, her husband went out to get a tattoo and said he finished up early, so he was heading to his best friend Scott’s place to hang out.
That didn’t bother her as she was looking forward to taking it easy, as her back hurt a lot, which might have had something to do with her being 33 weeks pregnant. On top of that, she was exhausted from having to chase after their toddler.
Anyway, it confused her to see that address written down under A, and not Scott. She went digging through her husband’s texts and found no messages between him and his best friend. Next, she went through his Snapchat and saw a secret account her husband had set up.
“…[The] first message was from an 18-year-old girl saying, ‘thanks for the food, honey, my man is the best’……GUTTED! I confronted him after scrolling through their saved chat; turns out he has been having an emotional and [physical] affair with a previous coworker since the week before I found out I was pregnant,” she explained.
“This ‘woman’ at the time of them having [slept together] for the first time had turned 18 just 4 months prior, he is a 34-year-old married man with a toddler and another baby on the way.”
“The messages included ‘I love yous, can’t wait to raise a family with you, your body is amazing, when I look at you I see perfection,’ and some very graphic images.”

She then discovered that her husband had a key to his teen affair partner’s apartment. Apparently, instead of going to the gym early in the mornings, he’s been going over to this girl’s place to hook up with her, then take a nap before arriving back home to drop their son off at daycare.
She did have someone from her husband’s gym send her a note back in January that they were concerned her husband was sneaking around with this girl and wanted to make her aware of that.
Her husband has since cut his affair partner off, and she’s left feeling grossed out and strange. Her emotions are overwhelming right now, and she’s doing everything she can to keep her husband happy, which she’s worried is an example of hysterical bonding.
The age gap between her husband and his affair partner is what’s really getting to me here, and paints her husband as predatory. This isn’t your normal affair with a coworker.
I also find it so alarming that her husband said he wanted to start a family with his affair partner while she’s pregnant with their second kid.
There’s so much going on with this, I’m not positive they will be able to reconcile.
