If you know someone is about to marry a cheater, and they have no idea, do you think you should be the one to break the news? Jodie Annabelle (@jodie.annabelle on TikTok) got a wedding called off after exposing her friend for being a no-good cheater.

Jodie was close friends with the girl in question for eight years, and two years ago, her friend started dating a guy whom Jodie knew of.

Three months ago, Jodie and her friend caught up over coffee, and her friend excitedly gushed about how she was convinced her boyfriend was close to proposing to her.

One month later, another friend of Jodie’s sends her a photo at 1 a.m. on a Saturday of Jodie’s close friend in a club, asking if that was who she thought it was.

Jodie confirmed it was her friend, who was not single, and asked what was going on. That girl sent Jodie photos and videos of her close friend making out with random guys and dancing on them, too.

“And not just one guy. It was multiple guys. I was shocked and shook because a month before that, I was having lunch with her and she was saying how so and so was going to propose to her,” Jodie explained in her video.

“I stew on this for ages, I end up contacting my friend and saying, ‘Hey, just so you know, I know someone who saw you in the club, that you were being messy that night, what you did was wrong, it’s definitely cheating, and I think you need to tell so and so.”

Jodie’s close friend argued that she was drunk and what happened wasn’t a big deal. She was being rude and insisting he wouldn’t care about her behavior, but Jodie kept pressing her to be honest with the man who wanted to marry her.

Later on, her friend got engaged while on vacation, and she called Jodie, thrilled to tell her about it. Jodie asked her if she had told her man about what she did in the club.

Her friend hung up, but not before angrily accusing Jodie of being jealous of her relationship.

After thinking it over, Jodie gave her friend an ultimatum: tell her fiancé about the cheating, or she would. Her close friend didn’t know that Jodie was armed with evidence.

“So a few days [went] by, and I was like, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I should tell him because they have just gotten engaged, like he thinks he’s about to spend the rest of his life with this girl,” Jodie said.

Jodie thought to herself that she would want to know if she was about to spend money on a wedding and make a commitment to someone who was unfaithful, so she resolved to tell the guy.

Jodie invited him out to grab coffee with her, since they were on friendly terms, and she threw the truth out there. He asked for proof, and Jodie gave him the videos and photos.

He was crushed, and Jodie felt terrible. She forwarded all of the footage to him, and two days later, he called off the wedding.

Jodie’s close friend turned her fury on her and went off. Jodie ended up blocking her, and she’s left wondering if she did the right thing.
