The other day, TikToker McKenna (@trippymck) went to get her nails done at a salon in a small town in Tennessee. She had never been to the salon before and had only picked this salon because her friend worked there, and she wanted to support her.

McKenna arrived at her appointment with her boyfriend. They sat down, and her friend started on her nails. Behind her, McKenna noticed that the owner of the salon was setting up for her own service. As she was setting up, her client called and canceled because she got poison ivy.

The owner started talking about how oozy the poison ivy rash was. McKenna shot a disgusted look at her boyfriend, thinking that it was a little unprofessional to be speaking that way in a place of business. The owner then left to pick up her kid from volleyball practice.

After about 10 minutes, the owner came back with her daughter. McKenna had just finished getting her nails done and walked over to the cash register to pay. She was told that they only take cash or Venmo. She didn’t bring any cash, so her boyfriend was figuring out Venmo.

McKenna made a passing remark about how the owner should get a card machine for convenience. However, the owner immediately flipped out at her suggestion.

McKenna’s boyfriend was finally able to pay on Venmo. McKenna told her friend that she would tip her in cash the next day because they would see each other at a rehearsal dinner.

This set the owner off again. She started screaming and cursing at McKenna for accusing her of not giving her nail techs the tips they earned.

She called McKenna a bunch of names and demanded that she leave the salon. McKenna was absolutely appalled. She and her boyfriend left the salon, and she pulled out her phone to take a picture of the salon’s logo so she could write a review.

As she was taking the picture, the owner came out and kept yelling at her. This time, McKenna recorded her tantrum. After she left, she got a phone call from her friend asking her to delete any posts she made about the salon owner because she was threatening to fire her.

The owner grabbed the phone from her friend and began screaming at McKenna through the phone, ordering her to take the posts down.

McKenna hopes her story goes viral so she can get her friend out of that toxic workplace. The nail salon is called Dramatic Creations and is owned by Teresa Jackson in Gainesboro, Tennessee.

“I triple dog dare you to send in an anonymous tip to the IRS. As an accountant, I KNOW she’s cookin’ those books,” one person commented on McKenna’s video.

“Wait, I’m 1 hour away. Should I go and request your friend and say OUT LOUD I’ll tip her later just to see if they do something lol,” another person joked.

“My whole family goes there, and she just lost all of their business!!!!!! That was so uncalled for!!!!!!! NOT OKAY!” a third person exclaimed.
