After recently getting divorced, TikToker Andrea (@mysterygirls.0), a 41-year-old mom of four, is slowly adjusting to her new reality.
Then, her friend texted her at 2:30 a.m. She had actually just gotten up to use the bathroom. When she saw the message from her friend pop up on her phone screen, she had a sinking feeling in her chest.
She opened the message and saw a screenshot of her now ex-husband and his first ex-wife on a date. The revelation didn’t come completely out of nowhere.
He had moved into his first ex-wife’s rental property, but Andrea found out that she was living there as well. So, they had basically moved in together, and he had lied about it.
“He lied about them being officially together for the longest time, and that’s because he was trying to force me into signing divorce papers,” said Andrea.
“I was nice about it. I just signed what he put, and that was that. But now, I’m seeing why he was trying to get me to sign that stuff so fast.”
She is still friends with her ex-husband on social media, but she is tempted to block him because she wants nothing to do with him.
As soon as they got divorced, her ex-husband and his ex started posting all about their relationship online, where her kids could see everything.
The fact that he is back together with his ex proves that he was never really over her in the first place. Throughout their entire marriage, he was always trying to gaslight Andrea when he denied having feelings for someone else.

On April 23, the day their divorce was finalized, he sent a large floral arrangement to his ex, along with food from her favorite restaurant and her favorite cookie. Obviously, they were celebrating while Andrea was at home, taking care of the kids.
In the comments section, several TikTok users shared similar stories and pointed out that relationships that begin with secrecy often don’t have a happy ending.
“I have a similar story. The way mine ended was the other woman is now single and turns out their love wasn’t it after all. I am married to someone amazing and didn’t know I could be cared for like I am. Didn’t realize what I was missing out on. She will lose him like she got him. You are going to have an amazing life,” wrote one user.
“I’m sorry you got duped. I have so many insane stories about my ex. I’m just lucky enough I never had kids with him. Sending you positive vibes for this new phase of your life,” commented another.
“Girl, I went through the same exact divorce. I swear, my ex was the same. Once he gets a new girlfriend, he’ll be dad of the year, but still from a distance, but with ‘consistency,'” added a third.
