What happens when someone walks into a psychic reading completely against their will? TikToker and medium Jonathan Mark (@jonathanmarkmedium) is sharing the story of how he turned a retired NFL player from a skeptic into a believer. By the end, there wasn’t any doubt left in the room.
So, a husband and wife came in for a reading, but the wife clarified that it was just for her husband. She had tricked her husband into coming under the guise that the reading was for both of them.
This guy was a retired NFL player and towered at least six feet and five inches tall. He was definitely not Jonathan’s typical client base.
He tried to get out of it, saying that he didn’t believe in psychics and mediums, but she urged him to give it a chance. So, he reluctantly sat down with Jonathan and did the reading.
During the session, Jonathan mentioned his mother and brought up specific details before she passed away. They were the kind of details that could not have been known publicly.
Jonathan also referred to private things about his family, particularly his father, and revealed a family secret.
“Mind you, the entire time, he hasn’t said one thing,” said Jonathan.
“The reading’s done, he stands up and starts crying, hugs me, and goes, ‘This was the best thing I could ever experience.’ He said he didn’t know what to expect, and he’s blown away, and he’s been coming to me ever since.”
He walked away completely changed. Many TikTok users in the comments section admitted that they had always wanted to see a medium but were afraid of being disappointed or scammed.

“Part of me has always wanted to go to a medium to make sure my brother is okay. We lost him suddenly 24 years ago, and it just hurts still. But I guess I’m skeptical,” commented one user.
“I was a skeptic until I saw someone who gave me the name of my ex. I was visiting a different state in a town where I knew no one,” stated another.
“I’ve always wanted a reading since my daughter passed away, but I struggle with believing people, but I have always felt like she has a message for me! I believe my guardian angels warned me she was going to die, but I just thought it was a nightmare until she passed away,” wrote a third.
Overall, Jonathan’s story highlights how powerful the idea of connection can be, especially for those dealing with grief and loss. Moments like these can offer comfort and closure in ways that plain ol’ logic can’t provide. It’s not about convincing people; it’s about creating space for healing and communication.
