While TikToker Harry G. Cange (@h_is2good) stayed home with his four kids, his wife, who was eight months pregnant, took a cab to a doctor’s appointment by herself. On the way there, she almost got kidnapped, and the cops did not help.

“But from the moment my wife got in the car, her saying good morning to him, we already knew something was off because I stayed on the phone with her,” he said.

The ride was going normally until 10 minutes in, when the driver received a WhatsApp message. He suddenly stopped following the GPS.

Instead of getting on the highway, he took a bunch of smaller side roads that led to some warehouses. Harry’s wife kept asking the driver why he wasn’t following the GPS, but he insisted he was.

“My wife is big-bellied pregnant, and he’s just driving recklessly,” said Harry. “And what’s crazy is the cops stopped them because of how he was driving. He would get into the right lane when he had to turn left. He would get into the left lane when he had to turn right.”

Harry decided to call the police. At the same time, his wife also called the police and was on the phone with the dispatcher. The dispatcher was tracking their location and told the cab driver to follow the GPS; otherwise, he would be fired.

The driver started freaking out because he had already lost a job and couldn’t afford to lose another.

He blamed Harry’s wife for everything, accusing her of not helping him navigate the roads. She and the dispatcher stated that it was not her job to help. She threatened to get him fired and to get his license revoked. Then, the driver tried to claim she was his sister.

Meanwhile, Harry was on the phone with the police, telling them about the situation and naming the streets they were driving down.

He asked the police to send some units out for help, but the dispatcher told him that the cops were not going to chase the car. He was instructed to let them know the address that the car stops at. Only then will they send out some units.

Harry was in the midst of panicking while his four kids were playing like nothing was wrong. He was also livid that the cops were refusing to help.

He hung up and got back on the phone with his wife. The driver was going on about how he had three kids.  He was now following the GPS because his job was on the line.

“Finally, after an hour and 10 minutes, which should’ve been a 30-minute ride, my wife finally gets to the destination, and we start talking about the whole thing,” Harry said.

“It was almost a kidnapping because it was only after the WhatsApp message and call that he decided to go these different ways.”

So, now, Harry is advising his viewers to be vocal and scream their heads off if they ever find themselves in trouble like that because that’s what helped save his wife’s life.
