Last month, Whitney went to a medspa in Chicago to receive Botox injections, but the person who injected her didn’t get the right spot.
Initially, Whitney didn’t notice anything had gone wrong, but then Whitney realized that her right eyebrow looked normal, while her left one starting sloping down.
Her eyebrows were uneven, and the person who had done her Botox recommended she come back in to get several more units injected into her droopy left eyebrow.

So, Whitney went back in, got some more injections, and it didn’t work. Instead of evening her eyebrows out, one of her eyes then started to sag while the other one became wider.
Whitney was then diagnosed with ptosis, which is caused when Botox is injected in the incorrect space on your face.
“…A lot of you get Botox and didn’t know this was possible. I didn’t know this was possible, either,” Whitney admitted in one of her Instagram videos.
In the comments on Whitney’s videos, various people explain that they have had something similar happen to them, while others say that never knew Botox could even go bad.

Since this all has happened, Whitney has been bravely sharing updates on social media so other people are aware that things can go south when getting Botox.
Luckily, things are starting to significantly improve for her and she documented some of the tips medical professionals recommended she try.
Whitney has tried steaming, adding 2 more Botox units around her lash line, acupuncture, special eye drops, and using an eye patch in an effort to correct the situation.
Right now, the differences in her eyes and eyebrows are very subtle, and she’s continuing to improve every day.
