She Was Shot Dead In Her Front Yard In Broad Daylight While Her Children Were Inside

The tactical team was sent into the house at around 1:33 in the morning. Erica’s 7-year-old and 2-year-old children were inside the house, and they were thankfully unharmed in everything that happened.

“Nicholas Allen was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the League City Police Department continued.

“The investigation determined that the initial call of a home invasion was untruthful, and the incident stemmed from a domestic problem.”

Many members of the community shared their shock on Facebook over Nicholas being capable of what he did.

“Breaks my heart. I was a groomsman at their wedding and had known Nick for over 20 years. This is so shocking and completely uncharacteristic for him. I feel for their kids. So tragic and sad.”

“My sis just told me Nick Allen was my nephew’s best friend growing up. Only thing Kathy said about him was that he was always kinda high strung.”

“But they were shocked because he lived at her house during the teen years and never would have imagined this from him. So sad… you just never know what happens behind closed doors.”
