Body Of 16-Year-Old Girl Named Faith Who Was Swept Away In A Flash Flood Has Sadly Been Found

“Kindly help us in any way you can by sending your thoughts and prayers to their family.”

As per officials, Faith contacted 911 at 9:30 p.m. to report that she was trapped in her car with flood water to her knees.

“Despite the fact that the water was only up to her knees when she asked for help, the water suddenly rose to nearly 8 feet in less than an hour,” the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.

By the time the first responders arrived, Faith’s car was missing, according to Verde Valley Fire District Chief Danny Johnson during one press conference.

Rescuers had to search by flashlight before finding a vehicle with a silhouette of a person inside that had been pushed toward a wash.

But it was reported that the victim had been swept out of the vehicle and was nowhere to be found by the time first responders arrived.

Faith’s personal things were found on Sunday, but according to authorities, “devastatingly, she has not yet been located.

Unfortunately, Faith’s body was just found alongside the Verde River.
