Although it’s been 10 years now and there haven’t been any solid leads on Lauren, some people on the internet think they found her in a trending TikTok video.

A TikToker by the name of @tythecrazyguy shared a video addressing a virtual gambling game that has been called into question since many of the dealers are women who appear to be drugged or in some kind of distress.
As his video comes to an end, he reveals a photo of one of the dealers, a blonde woman in a mask who many people think resembles Lauren.
“Someone commented that she looked just like Lauren Spierer,” he explained.
“I honestly don’t really know what to think, but I just thought I would include this since many suspect that a lot of these women may be people who are missing.”
“I know this video is probably really overwhelming, but I’m just hoping that this video reaches someone who’s professional and can look into this more seriously.”
In a recent Facebook post from a few days ago, Lauren’s mom Charlene addressed the video that has been circulating on TikTok.
“We have seen the TikTok video and while we do not believe it has anything to do with Lauren, it has been forwarded to the authorities who were aware as well,” Charlene explained.
