In a Facebook post, Nazareth Academy High School shared, “Morgan was a light to those whom she encountered.”

“Just recently, during the opening weeks of the pandemic, Morgan organized, assembled, and distributed care packages to nurses at Abington Hospital. It was not uncommon for Morgan to put others first.”

Manor College spoke of Morgan in a Facebook post as well, saying, “Members of our community knew Morgan, most especially our Admissions Team.”

“Admissions Counselor Jennifer Peters shared that she’s known “Morgan since we were very young, we grew up together. She was a bright and beautiful person on the inside and out. Morgan was the type of girl who would give you the shirt off of her back, or be your shoulder to cry on. She had an incredibly infectious smile that you couldn’t help but smile back.”

Gilbert was arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder, Third-Degree Murder, and Possessing an Instrument of Crime.

This Wednesday, Gilbert was convicted of murdering Morgan and was sentenced to life in prison by Judge William Carpenter.
