A Stranger Took A Pregnancy Test In Her Bathroom And She’s Asking The Internet If She’s The Worst For Pointing Out That It Really Wasn’t A Pregnancy Test
Ok, this has to be one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard, so buckle up for this one. A 30-year-old woman and her 30-year-old husband had 8 friends of theirs over for lunch not that long ago.
One of their friends asked her if it would be alright for a couple named Doug and Sasha to come to the lunch, and they said that was fine.
She did not know Doug or Sasha, and neither did her husband. Doug and Sasha are both in their 30s, and this woman figured why not extend an invite to them.
During lunch, Sasha asked if she could use the bathroom, so this woman directed her to her master bathroom since someone was using their other bathroom.
“I was helping my husband finish with food when Sasha came out of the master bawling and holding something in her hand,” she said.
“At first I thought she hurt herself, but she said something to Doug that caused him to drop to his knees, cry, and begin kissing her stomach.”
“All of our friends begin screaming, jumping, and crying. It was insane. Finally, Sasha tells my husband and me that she is pregnant.”
She and her husband both offered up well wishes, but she did find it very weird that Sasha took a pregnancy test at her house, considering she’s a stranger to her.
She did not bring this up and kept this to herself though.

As everyone took their seats to eat lunch, Sasha turned to her and mentioned that she hoped she didn’t care that she had used one of her pregnancy tests.
She was bewildered by what Sasha said to her, since she did not have any pregnancy tests in her bathroom, or really anywhere in her home.
She then asked Sasha if she was talking about a blue-colored box that she kept in the back of a drawer that Sasha clearly had to have been digging through.
“She seemed to realize I was pointing out that she basically snooped and sheepishly said the box said pregnancy for pregnancy test,” she continued.
“I said Sasha, the brand is Pregmate and those are ovulation tests. I do not own pregnancy tests. Did you take an ovulation test?”
Now, Sasha’s husband Doug jumped in. He completely flipped out on her for insinuating Sasha was stupid.
He said that Sasha can clearly read, and then he told Sasha to go get the test to prove that she was pregnant.
“Sasha refused saying she didn’t need to prove anything to a complete stranger and insisted they leave immediately,” she explained.
Well, they did leave, and now she’s left with a complete mess. One couple that she is friends with thought the whole situation that went down with Doug and Sasha was insane.
Three of the couples felt she should have asked to talk to Sasha privately and should have told her she didn’t take a pregnancy test that way. They thought she was a jerk for announcing it to Sasha in front of everyone.
“The whole thing was bizarre and confusing,” she concluded. “I just didn’t have time to put the pieces together mentally before asking about the ovulation tests.”

“This is insane, to snoop through someone’s stuff, then take something, admit to it, then get mad that you took the ‘wrong’ thing and throw a tantrum.”
“…As if it’s completely normal to go snooping in a stranger’s bathroom looking for a pregnancy test. Was this supposed to be cute?”
“You don’t have to protect her feelings. She went snooping in your house. You weren’t wrong for correcting her. She’s the one that stupidly got her own hopes up without reading the box.”
“Yeah, what?? Also, ovulation tests are not cheap. I’d be furious with her, who cares about her feelings when she’s rifling through your things and stealing them. Absolutely bizarre, unacceptable behavior.”
“Also who takes a pregnancy test and decides that is the perfect moment to share it with friends and people you have never even meet.”
“Tell your partner at home, go to the doctor, wait a few weeks minimum, then share the news. Most people wait 12 weeks and for good reasons.”
“I wonder what else she took that hasn’t been noticed yet? I’d be counting my prescription meds and replacing my toothbrush.”
“You had no way of knowing what was going on ahead of time and were perfectly reasonable in asking some clarifying questions; it’s not your fault that a) she’s a snoop/thief b) she didn’t read the package to figure out what she was stealing and/or c) she decided to stage this whole thing at your house.”
“Even if you had kicked them out of your house for snooping through your bathroom AND using what they found, I don’t think you would have been in the wrong.”
“Don’t host Sasha/Doug again and maybe reconsider taking recommendations from whoever suggested you invite them in the first place.”
“First of all, she was incredibly rude and intrusive to go through your things. She was a guest in your house and had no business doing that.”
“Secondly, it’s NOT your fault this woman can’t read. I’d stop being friends with her and cut contact completely.”
“She clearly has no respect for you, and you deserve better friends.”
