Just Days Before She Was Shot Dead In Her Car, She Found A Tracking Device Her Killer Left Behind

“The manager showed me a post that Abigail had put on Instagram on October 14, 2021, in which she had found a tracker that Stan had hidden on her car in an effort to follow her,” one of the detectives on the case explained in an arrest warrant.

“The manager indicated that Abigail was frightened of Stan because he was stalking and harassing her.”

Abigail’s family later confirmed her fears to the police; she had been very outspoken about the concern she had for Stan’s behavior.

Abigail’s manager also pulled up Stan’s Instagram accounts, and detectives could see multiple posts from him that showed he was quite upset about something.

One of the detectives called Stan to talk to him, and although Stan agreed to come to the police department to speak to him, Stan never ended up showing for the scheduled interview.

That detective then got a search warrant for Stan’s house and on October 27th, the SWAT team entered Stan’s residence. Stan would not leave his house even though the SWAT team was in there, and then he gave himself a neck wound that he later was treated for.

Ultimately, Stan was arrested and charged with Abigail’s murder. He is currently behind bars, and his bond has been set at $250,000.
