His Cousin’s About To Get Married For The Second Time In A Year And He’s Being Accused Of Sabotaging Her Wedding To Guy Number Two After Refusing To Go
A 27-year-old man has been dating his 27-year-old girlfriend named Jenn for the past 7 years now. Since he has been with Jenn for so long, she’s essentially a part of his family already.
Anyway, his 26-year-old cousin Megan got married one year ago, and he was part of the wedding, while Jenn was invited to be one of the bridesmaids.
“She left her husband after one year to be with Tony who was married at the time with 2 kids,” he explained about his cousin Megan.
“Obviously this was the family gossip, and Megan’s mom (my aunt G/mom’s sister) was embarrassed but tried to cover for Megan as much as she could.”
“After this, I really didn’t talk to Megan much and neither did Jenn. Well, we got invited to the second wedding.”
Jenn is refusing to go to Megan’s second wedding in basically a year because she thinks that it was very terrible of Megan to have presumably cheated on her first husband.
Megan also moved into Tony’s place a month after leaving her first husband, and Tony quickly divorced his wife and abandoned his kids.
Jenn doesn’t support what Megan did and thinks they should skip her second wedding to Tony because of it.
He agrees with Jenn, and he also doesn’t want anything to do with Megan and her wedding number two.

He recently had all of his cousins over for a game night, which he has at his place monthly. He’s extremely tight with his cousins, and his aunts consider him to be like the leader of them all.
At his most recent game night, his cousins started talking about Megan’s upcoming second wedding.
He and Jenn revealed that they’re skipping out on the wedding, and all of his cousins and their significant others wanted to know why.
They had already said yes to going to Megan’s wedding.
He insisted that they all should go through with attending Megan’s wedding, but that he and Jenn can’t support it.
After telling his cousins this information, most of them decided the change their minds and also not go to Megan’s wedding.
“My other aunts/uncles are furious at my cousins because my cousins are saying they won’t go,” he said.
“My mom is distraught, saying that we’ll be left out of the picture (we take a large family photo at weddings). Saying it will hurt Megan, it will dampen the wedding, that my cousins will follow my lead and the family needs me there.”
He maintained that he could not go, and then his mom and Megan’s mom, his Aunt G, arrived at his house, pleading with him to change his mind.
Since nearly all of his cousins backed out of the wedding, his mom and aunt were hoping that he would reconsider so that his cousins would agree to go to the wedding again.
“I said that I have better things to do that weekend and asked them to leave,” he continued.
“Tony and Megan called. Megan accused me of trying to sabotage the wedding while Tony tried to play peacekeeper.”
Megan and Tony were on speakerphone, so Jenn could hear everything, and as soon as Megan began shouting at them, Jenn clicked the end call button.
He completely gets that it seems that he and Jenn are taking some kind of stand on this, and he completely gets that he and Jenn won’t be in the wedding photos and will make his family furious with them.
“But we don’t want to support this circus, we don’t want to spend money/time on my cousin again and I’m a little sick of my aunt’s behavior towards it all,” he concluded.
