She’s Wondering If She Should Get A Criminal Background Check Done On Her Boyfriend Before He Proposes To Her

“He has changed his story a few times to where he claims that he was arrested due to resisting arrest, not the stabbing part.”

“He said that it happened because his ex cheated on him and he found out and that his ex got upset and grabbed a knife and when he tried to defend himself he ended up stabbing her with the knife she had in her hand.”

She really has no idea if her boyfriend’s ex got stabbed, and she also has no idea if what he told her is the truth, especially since he switched his version of events several times.

She’s thinking it might be time to shell out the money to do a criminal background check on him before he proposes and she commits to him for the rest of her life.

How do you think she should handle this? You can read the original post on Reddit here.
