This Uber Driver Found Out Her Hinge Match Was Cheating After She Picked Him Up With Another Girl

While driving for Uber, you never know who you might encounter. Some Uber drivers tell frightening tales of picking up creepy men or just being in downright uncomfortable situations.
Still, this TikToker named Jen broke the internet after sharing her outrageous story– she picked up her unofficial boyfriend while he was with another woman.
A few days ago, Jen posted a TikTok describing the situation on her account @jword444.
“When you decide to stay in on a Friday, drive for Uber, and your man gets in the back seat with another girl,” she captioned the video.
While a viral TikTok sound played in the background, Jen pretended to be driving before turning around and screaming in shock.
This video gained over three million views and over five hundred thousand likes in under a week. Of course, the TikTok community was dying for more information.
Jen posted an entire three-part “story time” to answer all of her follower’s burning questions.
“This guy and I were not officially dating, but we met on Hinge, and things were going well,” Jen clarified in part one of her story time. After the pair hit it off, Jen was invited to meet his friends at a birthday party.

“I met his entire group and actually met the girl who later got in the Uber with him. But I didn’t realize at the time that I had already met her,” Jen said.
Still, before the nightmarish Uber ride happened, Jen did not think anything was wrong. She had asked her Hinge match what he was doing over the weekend, but he apparently made up some fake plans.
“He told me that on Friday, he was going to the Penn’s game with a buddy but that he was free on Saturday,” Jen recalled, “In my mind, I was thinking I would just drive for Uber on Friday and make some money before I see him Saturday.”
Fast-forward to Friday, Jen received an Uber request from a girl. She thought nothing of it and drove to pick her up.
“She gets in the backseat of my car on the passenger side, and I look over,” Jen said, “She looked familiar, but I didn’t remember her name.”
“Then, he gets in the backseat right behind me. At this point, I was not even thinking anything of it, and I pulled away,” Jen said.
While Jen was driving, unaware of who was in her car, the man and woman began talking about the man’s friends in Jen’s backseat. She realized that all of the names were from her Hinge match’s friend group.
“So I look in the rearview mirror, we make eye contact, and that’s when we both knew. We had masks on, which is why it was hard to tell at first,” Jen explained.
After the stare-down, the man still did not say anything for the entire Uber ride. Jen ended up dropping them off at the arena and, five minutes later, received a call from the man.
“He was like, ‘hey, I am really sorry. I knew that was you, and I should’ve said something, but I just didn’t. I was in shock,'” Jen said, “I told him it was fine and that I did not really know what to say either.”
Still, the phone call did not give Jen any real answers. She was left wondering if the pair were just friends or if he was on a date.
Jen did recall the man telling her that there was a girl in his friend group with whom he “used to have a thing.” But, she was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Finally, the man texted Jen on Saturday and asked her to talk the situation over in person. He said he felt weird about the interaction and wanted Jen to know that “nothing happened” with the other girl. Jen agreed, and after they met up, she thought that the situation had resolved itself.
“He said that they were just friends, and that was it. I even straight-up asked if that was the girl he had a thing with. He said no,” Jen said. Then, Sunday came.
Jen decided to go out to her local bar with some girlfriends for a fun evening. She knew the bartender who, after they got to talking, brought up Jen’s first viral TikTok. After having a laugh, the bartender told Jen that she actually knew the other girl– and she was across the same bar from Jen.
“I was like, no way she is here right now. I should talk to her,” Jen explained. Still, she decided to talk to the bartender first.
“I told her that I felt bad for overreacting [on TikTok] and I know that the pair are just friends. Then, the bartender goes, ‘what do you mean they’re just friends?'” Jen said.
Apparently, the bartender told Jen that the pair were “definitely more than friends” right before the girl approached Jen at the bar.
“We started talking, and it was confirmed. That was the girl he had a thing with,” Jen explained, “So I texted him that I had a funny story and that we needed to meet up to talk about it.” Can you guess who walked into the same bar next?
“He walks in with both of us there. I take him over to a side table and, at that point, he came clean,” Jen recalled, “There was really nothing else to say. For a while, we just sat, had a drink, and that was it.”
The TikTok community was blown away by this twist of events. All in all, Jen’s four TikTok videos garnered 3.6 million views. Many people bashed the man and believed that Jen’s Uber encounter was fate.
“The universe was literally saving you,” commented one user.
“That was God’s work for real,” commented another.
Whatever Uber algorithm or universal force that led Jen to pick up her Hinge match that night, she is thankful that the truth finally came out.
