This Guy Thought It Would Be Ok To Propose To His Girlfriend With The Exact Same Ring He Purchased For His Ex

He then says he met his fiancée 3 years ago and decided he should propose to her recently using the ring he bought for his ex.

His fiancée thought the ring was incredible and immediately went to go brag to her friends about it after the proposal.

A few nights after his fiancée accepted his proposal, they were curled up on the couch watching movies all night together, and when Leap Year came on, they began discussing the proposal in that.

His fiancée then started talking about the way he had proposed to her, before talking about the ring.

She said thank you to him for buying her such a stunning ring, and he slipped up and replied that he was happy he did not sell it years ago.

His fiancée had no idea what he was talking about and asked what he meant, so he told her the real story behind the ring.

“She went all mad and told me that I was cheap…trying to give her a hand-me-down ring. She took it off, opened the window, tossed it out, and locked herself in our bedroom,” he said.

He then went outside to try to find the ring.

“Do I give it back or do I keep it for the next girl? (just kidding! It’s a joke). I sort of understand where she’s coming from but really?”

“It’s still a nice ring and I spent months trying to think of a special to engrave on it just for her.”

“Besides, an engagement ring is only temporary so I don’t understand the big fuss.”
