When the pandemic hit, she was forced to move back home, and she and her boyfriend thought that was their chance to revive their relationship.
“…It was great and I mostly forgot about my boyfriend admitting to having feelings for someone else, but every now and then it would nag at me and I figured one day I would ask,” she said.
Currently, she’s back in another country completing her master’s degree, and she thought now would be the best time to ask her boyfriend about those feelings he had for another girl, as their relationship has been solid lately.
She thought it was “only fair” for her boyfriend to spill the beans on this, but he declined to give her the answers she was looking for.
Her boyfriend then shut down, and he’s not talking to her after that phone conversation. It’s causing her a lot of stress that her boyfriend won’t admit who he has feelings for.
She’s never had a reason to believe that her boyfriend was anything but committed to their relationship, though she’s beginning to question if things went further between him and this other girl he developed feelings for.
“We’ve been discussing marriage and him moving to live with me wherever I settle, he’s my best friend and I don’t want to lose him but I need to know,” she continued.
She’s conflicted; should she keep pressing him for answers, or leave this topic alone?
