His wife got upset that this means she won’t have as much money now, and she accused him of trying to control her with money all because of some earrings.
His wife also told her mom and dad about all of this, and his father-in-law thinks he’s a terrible person now.
Although the heat of the moment has passed, his wife is still declining to attend therapy with him, which he finds necessary for saving their relationship.
“This will be my hill to die on,” he continued. “If she doesn’t agree by next Wednesday, I’m sure we will divorce.”
