Her Mom Made Her Move To The Midwest While She Pursued A Relationship But Now That It’s Over Her Mom Expects Her To Move Back To Where They’re From Even Though She Already Built A Life For Herself

Her mom said that if she’s not moving, that means she will also have to remain in the Midwest and it will be a total waste of her life.

“She moved here chasing a long-distance relationship and now that she’s done, I’m supposed to uproot myself and follow her around again,” she said.

“She also recommends that my boyfriend moves to Texas “if he loves me”- I told her no to that idea because he has lifelong friends and family where he’s from, has a job he’s respected (has been there 6 years) and just bought a house.”

She would never make her 25-year-old boyfriend leave his life and everything he has worked hard to build only to move to a new state and start over from scratch.

She’s really mad at her mom for trying to say or do anything to make her return to Texas, and she’s wondering what she can do to get her mom to get over it.

She has no problem with her mom moving back, but she doesn’t want to. She also works at a local hospital, and she only works 3 days a week and gets off for 4 days in a row, so it’s not hard for her to spend her days off visiting her family and mom in Texas.

Her mom has relentlessly wanted to know if she has had a change of heart regarding moving, but she hasn’t and she won’t.

She wants to let her mom know once and for all that she’s staying, but she’s worried about the backlash.

How can she get her mom to see that she’s not going to return to Texas and that it’s really ok for her to do her own thing?
