She wants to make a conscious effort to do something before this impacts her relationship in a negative way.
This evening, she’s going to be out on the town with her boyfriend, and she’s positive that some girl is going to try something with him.
In preparation, she wants to do everything in her power to ensure that she handles other girls hitting on her boyfriend in a good way, but she’s doubting her ability to do so.
“I am a highly anxious person if you can’t tell,” she said. “So I overthink the heck out of everything.”
“Haven’t been in a relationship for 2.5 years so I’m relearning how to do this again and he’s been patient with me as I have with him.”
“But I don’t want to put myself down over little things either. Men don’t like when you’re weak or insecure. I don’t either. I’m pretty confident usually so I’m surprised when I get angry about other women.”
Do you have any advice for how she can not let other girls admiring her boyfriend bother her?
