She’s Spilling All The Tea On TikTok About How To Marry Rich

Do you want to marry rich? Millions of people on TikTok apparently do. One creator known as @Drinkswithdevin has repeatedly gone viral for sharing her tips and tricks for meeting rich men and fitting in with their high society.
And while the videos are utterly entertaining, Devin also provides some pretty useful information.
Three of her most viral videos include discussions on where to meet rich men, how to decide between “old money” and “new money,” and– after landing a date– how to get along with a rich man’s parents. So, let’s break down all the advice.
One of the most obvious places to start is political fundraisers. There will be plenty of sponsors and donors pouring loads of money into their party of choice. Just read the room and beware of political discussions.
You can also visit polo matches, major golf tournaments, and tennis opens– three sports guaranteed to attract some high-value players.
Or, if you are into more traditional art and history, you might choose to travel to Sotheby’s, The Cannes Film Festival, and “orchestras where they play Chopin.”

Since the rise of tech and Silicon Valley, the concept of old versus new money has been a hot topic. So, Devin gave a rundown of the differences between the two.
For example, old money consists of oil, shipping, railroad, and industrial revolution heirs. New money includes tech, modern media, startups, and the like.
“Old money has more skeletons in the closet, which can be a very useful source of blackmail when you get divorced since you will definitely have to sign an NDA,” Devin joked.
“New money families tend to be less judgmental while old money keeps a low profile– which means you have fewer chances of being publicly ostracized. But, that also means they could probably get away with your murder,” she continued.
Another key difference includes social groups– new money tends to run with a younger crowd.
How To Fit In With The Wealthy In-Laws
“Well, that depends. Are they from the east coast or the west coast?” Devin asked.
She went on to explain how if the man’s parents are from the east coast, you should “stick with the classics”– including discussions of current events, art, and literature.
“And, if you really want to show off, memorize a few quotes from Winston Churchill,” she said.
But, if they are from the west coast, you might want to discuss more contemporary interests– such as pop culture and film. Still, Devin warns against coming off fanatical.
“Just say you have a soft spot for Nancy Meyers films,” she advised.
