He snuggled up to her mom on the couch, he took her mom out to get dinner with him. And in the aftermath of their divorce, how he’s treating her mom is leaving them all feeling so confused and upset.
Right now, her dad is constantly reaching out to her mom to “check in on her,” and he’s sending songs to her and acting as if he genuinely messed up.
This is also not helping her want to spend any time with her dad’s new girlfriend.
“The hard thing is he’s been extremely accepting of me denying his requests to meet her, but it seems like he continues to try,” she said.
“He is showing no hostility towards my siblings and me, and I find it so difficult to say no to him. This could also be the result of me being a chronic pushover.”
