His Girlfriend Made His Little Sister Cry, So He Screamed At Her And Kicked Her Out Of His Apartment
This twenty-three-year-old man may be young, but he has definitely stepped up to the plate.
Unfortunately, he and his little sister, Paige, grew up in a pretty unstable household. So, from a young age, he had to be a stand-in parent and take on many responsibilities.
Now, Paige is fifteen, and they have an extremely close relationship because of the hardships they have weathered together. But Paige is still a young teen and still relies on him a lot– which he does not mind at all.
“Paige still lives with our parents, but I am the one who takes her to and picks her up from school every day because they certainly won’t do it. And she spends a lot of time at my apartment and occasionally sleeps over on weekends,” he explained.
However, Paige is not the only important girl in his life. He also has a girlfriend named Jackie, who he has been going out with for about three months. They initially met during high school, then ended up reconnecting and dating after college.
And thankfully, Jackie was aware of his family situation and did not seem to have a problem with Paige always being at his apartment at first. However, as time went on, he noticed that Jackie would kind of try to make Paige feel unwelcome.
For example, Jackie would say things like, “Shouldn’t you be at your own house?” And he did not like the passive-aggressive comments one bit.
“I’ve tried to talk to Jackie about this multiple times so we can solve the issue. But, each time I’ve brought it up, she gets defensive and swears that she does not have a problem with Paige,” he said.
Well, Jackie clearly did have a problem with Paige– because just a few days ago, his girlfriend’s jealousy sparked a massive argument.

It all started when he was watching a movie with Jackie in his apartment one afternoon. Then, in the middle of the film, he got a call from Paige’s school. Apparently, she was not feeling well and needed to be picked up, and his parents had not answered the school’s calls.
So, he explained the situation to Jackie and told her he would be leaving to pick up Paige. And immediately, his girlfriend seemed pretty annoyed– but he went anyway. After all, it’s his sister.
Anyway, he eventually picked up Paige and brought her back to his apartment. Then, once he returned home, he remembered that he still had another errand to do and invited Jackie to go with him.
However, she apparently seemed really irritated and refused to go with him. So, he was forced to just leave Jackie at his apartment while running his errand and planned to talk to her when he got home.
Once he finally returned to his apartment, though, he was mortified. He found Paige extremely upset and crying; meanwhile, Jackie had locked herself in his bedroom.
He immediately asked Paige what had happened and learned that Jackie had accused his sister of manipulating him. Plus, Jackie also apparently screamed at Paige and even cursed her out.
This utterly infuriated him, so he knocked on his bedroom door and told Jackie that they needed to have a serious talk. Still, though, Jackie held her ground.
In fact, she apparently called Paige a “freaking brat” and said that she deserved attention as his girlfriend, too. He was not going to let Jackie badmouth his sister, though.
“I lost my temper and yelled at Jackie for speaking about my sister like that, and I told her to leave,” he recalled.
So, Jackie eventually left– but she did not forget to scream at him the entire way out. And ever since then, even though he and Jackie have not spoken, Jackie’s friends have been blowing up his phone and calling him a terrible boyfriend.
In turn, he has been left feeling really confused. He still believes that Jackie should never have treated his sister like that or made her cry.
But, he is not sure if yelling at Jackie and making her leave was the wrong way to handle the situation.
Do you think Jackie’s behavior was acceptable or not? If your partner made your little sibling cry, would you kick them out also? Do you think this situation can be reconciled?
