For the cinnamon cheesecake layer, combine sixteen ounces of softened cream cheese and half a cup of sugar in a bowl. With a mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar for two minutes. Add in half a teaspoon of cinnamon and one teaspoon of vanilla.
Whip one cup of heavy cream in a separate bowl, then transfer it to the cream cheese mixture. Once the blondies are cool, spread the cheesecake mixture on top. Keep refrigerated for at least four hours.
Finally, we’re onto the brown butter maple glaze. You’ll want to drizzle this onto the bars just before serving them. To make, place one-fourth cup of butter in a pan. Again, keep stirring until the butter foams, then take it off the heat.
Combine with one cup of powdered sugar and two tablespoons of maple syrup. Next is a half teaspoon of both cinnamon and vanilla, plus a pinch of salt.
After slicing the blondies into squares, drizzle the glaze over them and savor their sweetness!
