TikToker Sammy, with 70.9K followers, shares a super simple, no-brainer cake recipe that she named the “Pumpkin Dump Crunch Cake” under her account @sammyspringate.
Sure, I know you see the word “dump,” but this is not some “revenge” recipe you make to get to your partner or ex. She names it just because it is that simple.
Now, shall we get to the fun part?
The ingredients you need are:
-one 15 oz canned pumpkin puree
-12 oz of evaporated milk
-4 eggs

-1 cup of white sugar
-1 tablespoon of pumpkin spice
– ½ teaspoon of salt
-1 box of yellow cake mix
-chopped pecans
-1 cup unsalted, melted butter
Now let’s get to the steps–wait, what steps? Just dump every ingredient on your hand into a big-enough bowl! There is a reason why it’s called the “dump” crunch cake, lol.
Already do the dumping? Great, now just whisk everything together!
After you pour the whole batter evenly into your favorite greased-baking tray, Sammy then puts in her choice of cake mix: Betty Crocker Super Moist Favorites Yellow Cake Mix.
Remember, don’t mix the cake mix with your wet ingredients. Only to simply pat it on and spread the batch out evenly.
Before the tray goes into the oven, let’s sprinkle some beloved pecans on the batter. And this time, just “go with the flow,” according to Sammy.
“We don’t measure pecans. We measure with our hearts,” Sammy says.
Lastly, pour the melted butter on top of everything. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about one hour.
Yum. The cake comes out so fluffy and even a little caramelized.
“Obviously, it is the dump cake,” Sammy says while scooping one part up with a spoon. “So why would I even bother cutting it?”
To double the yumminess, top the cake with your favorite whipped cream or even ice cream. You know the drill.
