Her Estranged Sister Saw Her Elaborate Christmas Decorations On Social Media And Tried To Invite Their Family Over For Christmas Day, But She Said That Neither Her Sister Nor Her Sister’s Family Was Welcome To Celebrate The Holiday With Her

Regardless, though, her sister was not quitting– because afterward, her sister just started asking if she could help them out with money for Christmas expenses.

To be honest, though, she is not exactly swimming in cash despite how it may look on social media– so she told her sister that they did not have any extra funds this month.

However, she and her husband did budget one hundred dollars toward gifts for her sister’s family– so she offered to just send that over instead.

But rather than being grateful for that, her sister just asked for more money. And she was forced to turn her sister down yet again.

So, according to her, that was the moment her sister became seriously furious at her.

In fact, she actually got accused of being a selfish jerk, and her sister claimed it was not fair her kids would not get to celebrate Christmas; meanwhile, she was “throwing money out the window” to spend on her “vanity project of a house.” Yikes!

Understandably, she decided to just hang up the phone after those comments. And afterward, she sent her sister a pretty firm text message.

“I am sorry that you and your family are struggling, but I will not be sacrificing our family traditions for your ease. I will be sending you one hundred dollars as a gift for the kids, but neither you nor your family is welcome to our family Christmas,” she texted.

“And I will expect an apology when you cool down; otherwise, don’t bother contacting me again.”

Now, she does stand behind her decision to bar her sister’s family from celebrating Christmas with her family.

In reflecting on the situation, though, she has started to question some of the wording in her text message.
