He just doesn’t understand why Jane is not being more understanding, especially since this is just a matter of straightening out money and ownership of a bunch of belongings.
Although he hasn’t said those exact words to Jane, he has questioned her about why she thinks she has to be included in the splitting of his finances from his ex.
Jane has mentioned that it’s now her issue because she’s the one dating him, but he doesn’t agree.
Additionally, Jane has pushed him to make a list of every single thing he owns with his ex and ensure that he is properly paid for half of every little thing, but he thinks that’s overkill.
“I’m not looking to take my ex to the cleaners, and I’m definitely not going to itemize everything to divvy it up,” he said.
He doesn’t care about the items his ex still has that he paid half for; he wants to get on with his life.
How do you think he can get Jane to calm down and, quite frankly, butt out?
