When Samantha woke up 30 minutes later, he was gone. So were his bag and the bottle of vodka that she had purchased.
Samantha was very anxious after waking up and finding him gone, so she began to “blow up” his phone with texts and calls.
In one of her videos, Samantha displays the texts she sent her date while she waited for him to return.
“I hope you have the decency to at least text me back because this is crazy,” she wrote.
Samantha then had the idea to call their mutual friend, asking her if she could get a hold of this guy.
Well, it looks like he did not have the friend’s number saved in his phone because he answered and then immediately hung up once he figured out who it was.
The friend made sure to tell Samantha that during the short time she talked to this guy, she noticed loud music playing in the background.
After sitting around waiting for a response, Samantha finally got a text back. He told her that he had to leave because of a “family emergency.”
“Why did you take vodka to a family emergency?” asks Samantha in her video. “Why was there loud music playing in the background?”
Samantha emphasized how disturbing the situation was because this guy was aware that she had never been to his city before and was all by herself with no friends or family around.
To make matters worse, she had paid for all the airfare. It turned out to be a big waste of money.
