Now, her husband has fully taken her side and agrees that his mom was completely out of line. However, her two sisters-in-law, as well as her mother-in-law, completely disagree and have been sending her non-stop messages calling her “every name in the book.”
In turn, she has been left wondering if kicking her mother-in-law out for forcing her daughter to only eat mushrooms was the wrong way to handle the situation or not.
Is it normal for people to dislike certain foods without being labeled as “too picky?” Why do you think her mother-in-law is so dead-set on making Susie like mushrooms? If you found out your mother-in-law was sending your child to bed hungry every night over something as trivial as mushrooms, would you be pissed, too? Did she have a right to kick out her mother-in-law or not?
