Her Husband Went Away For A Business Trip And Made Out With Some Woman He Met In A Hotel Room, But She’s Not Sure If She Can Move Past What He Did

This 31-year-old woman has a husband the same age as her, and they have been with one another for a decade.
They met as juniors in college, and they tied the knot 5 years ago. She always felt that their relationship was nothing but picture-perfect, and she says that they have always had the kind of love that made other people envious of them.
Although she and her husband are kind of polar opposites, I guess that just goes to show that opposites really do attract.
Her husband was athletic and super popular in college, whereas she had a tiny group of friends and wasn’t that outgoing at all.
She and her husband started out as friends, and everything grew from there. Then, when she was 25, she found out that she was pregnant, and she and her husband were thrilled.
It was then that they decided to go through with a wedding before welcoming their twins into the world.
Their twins are now 6; a little boy and a little girl. She and her husband are still completely head over heels for one another, and they never get into disagreements.
“…I never thought a day would come for me to sit on our bed alone crying,” she explained. “So what happend is my husband came home from a business trip yesterday morning, and he was kind of different, and he had this look on his face that I’ve never seen before.”
“I was so worried, but I didn’t say anything in front of our kids, but every time I look at him, he was looking at me with guilt.”

“After the twins went to sleep, he said he wanted to tell me something important; we sat down face to face on the couch, his hands were shaking, and he couldn’t look me in the eyes.”
She finally just asked him to fill her in on what was going on because she couldn’t handle him not saying anything and just looking like a mess.
Well, her husband began sobbing and saying sorry over and over again. She has only witnessed her husband cry one time, and that was when she gave birth to their twins.
She was so concerned and asked him again what the problem was, and he said that he “almost cheated” on her while he was on that business trip.
Her husband proceeded to tell her that he was sitting at the bar of his hotel by himself, and he was in a terrible mood.
He began tossing back drinks, and a woman approached him and began getting fliratious. He admitted that he really was into the “attention” that he was getting.
“…They went up to her hotel room and started making out, but he stopped once he realized what he was doing and went back to his room alone,” she said.
“He said he hate himself for what he almost did, and he is sorry, and he couldn’t believe he wanted to be with someone else. We both were crying, he was apologizing, and I was quiet; I couldn’t believe the love of my life would do that even though he stopped before doing it, but it still hurt so bad to think he wanted to do it.”
He husband then stated that he wasn’t sure why he tried to pursue another woman, and she is left feeling like her heart has shattered.
She still is crying over her husband making out with another woman. After her husband’s confession, he slept in their guest bedroom.
The following morning, the twins went to school, and she just shut herself in her bedroom. She cannot stand to look at her husband, and he’s not sure where to go from here.
She has no interest in divorcing her husband, as she wants her twins to be able to have both their mom and dad in their lives.
“I don’t know if I could forgive him right now; he said he would do anything to earn my trust again,” she continued. “What should I do?”
