Recently, TikToker Gia (@giagarcha) went on a date with her online stalker of more than 10 years. You might be wondering how this happened.

So, she was scrolling through a dating app when she ended up matching with someone she had matched with multiple times before.

She recognized the photo on this guy’s dating profile and realized that he already followed her on social media. They have matched on various dating apps over the course of 10 years. He is 40 years old, and she is 32.

“Honestly, I think we were matching since I was like 20,” she said. “He said that he noticed me when I was 20 and was waiting until I was old enough. That’s apparently what he told my sister, and he said he watched me grow up. It was just a whole weird thing.”

She talked on the phone with him for about three hours. It seemed like he was just saying things he thought she would want to hear because he didn’t disagree with her at all about anything.

She decided to give him a chance, thinking that he would be more respectful and mature since he was older.

They made plans to meet up at a restaurant at 9:30 p.m. Her sister and friend tagged along from a distance to keep an eye on her. Gia and her date greeted each other awkwardly, which started things off on a bad note.

He did compliment her, but seemed irritated when she mentioned that she wasn’t very hungry. He was also drinking a lot and kept trying to order more drinks, even though she wasn’t finished with hers.

He began to get ruder throughout the night as he continued drinking. At one point, he called her an old lady, but she couldn’t tell if he was making a joke or was just insecure.

He recognized the car she used to drive and her dog that had passed away years ago. He even mentioned her dad, whom she didn’t post about too much.

He seemed starstruck when he was talking about her life. Then, he pushed her to invite her sister and friend over. By the time her sister and friend met up with them, he was pretty drunk.

“They’re just trying to ask him questions, but nothing’s really coming out,” said Gia.

“He’s just kind of going on his own little tangents, and then he’s trying to get more drinks and more shots to the point that the waiters actually stop serving him.”

“It was really embarrassing. He was rude to the waitstaff…I think he told one of them to dance for my sister.”

He aggressively told Gia and her sister to shut up, so she was concerned for their safety. Finally, he paid the bill and called for a ride. They headed to the next location. During the car ride, he repeatedly stated that Gia’s sister was cute.

Gia was fed up with his behavior, so when they arrived at their destination, she ended the date, and they went their separate ways.
