She stayed with her parents for a few more days before returning home, scared that this man would have a major outburst once he realized he had been locked out of the house and security login.
One night when she was home alone, he showed up at her house and began banging on the front door. He was demanding to be let into “his house.”
“Gone were all the niceties,” she explains. “This was someone completely furious and derailed. All I could do was hide in my bedroom until he left, what felt like an hour later.”
He continued to show up every once and a while in the middle of the night and knock on the door. He would frantically try to get her attention on social media, but she would block every account he created.
Thankfully two years later, she was able to sell that house and move. She recalls finding more notes from that awful day as she packed up her things. She changed the privacy settings on all of her social media accounts and is careful not to post any pictures of her house online.
In addition to all of these precautions, she avoids places where she had seen him in the past, like certain networking events. Luckily, she’s seen no sign of him since she moved.
