Unfortunately, no one was at the park or on the walking paths, so she couldn’t flag down anyone for help. She just had to keep walking towards the embankment that led her to the freeway.
She told her mom what was happening, but she lived 10 hours away.
Finally, the man turned around once she made it up the embankment and onto the freeway’s walking path, where she was visible to drivers.
“I got out of there before I saw where exactly he went,” she remembered. “I haven’t been back there alone since.”
