After Her Sister Falsely Accused Her Fiancé And Never Apologized, She Allowed Her Fiancé To Fat Shame Her Sister At A Family Get Together

Her mom noticed that she didn’t jump into the conversation, either, and asked if she actually condoned what her fiancé said. So, she decided to share her two cents.

“While I think it was a low blow, I’ll never police anything he says to her until she does the bare minimum in damage control by apologizing for calling him an abuser,” she said.

Her mom didn’t agree with that, though, and just wound up claiming to be really disappointed in her for allowing her fiancé to fat-shame her sister. Still, she simply responded, “No use beating a dead horse.”

Regardless, her mom ultimately texted her about the situation after dinner.

“Saying she thought we were better than that, and while my fiancé has been ‘vindicated,’ my sister’s weight isn’t something that can be quickly fixed in the same way the accusations she made were,” she vented.

While she does agree with her mom to some extent, though, she still believes her fiancé has a right to be petty after what happened. Nonetheless, with her family still angry, she’s been left wondering whether allowing her fiancé to fat-shame her sister was a really jerky thing to do.

When her sister suggested her fiancé was abusive, wasn’t that a very serious accusation? If there was clear video evidence disproving her sister’s claims, shouldn’t her sister have apologized? Can you understand why her fiancé was still upset? Regardless, was his “low blow” warranted, or did it go over the line?
