But, he still didn’t leave the situation alone and instead reported what was going on to one of their school counselors. Anyway, later that day, he was supposed to have a class with Faith. And he expected her to say something once they were in the same classroom.
To his surprise, though, she was not there. He later learned from one of Faith’s close friends that she had actually gone to the administration office and begged to switch out of his class just so she wouldn’t have to see him.
Since then, he has not tried to approach Faith again. Instead, he plans to give her some more space before eventually apologizing for causing a scene.
Still, he just wishes that Faith would either provide an explanation about what happened or at least give him an answer to his promposal– because ever since the whole spectacle, a ton of students have been posting about it on social media.
“And people are either making fun of me or mad at me,” he vented. “They’ve even been talking to Faith, and I guess she told them something else because people are also coming at me for ruining her life.”
So now, while he feels bad for causing Faith to have a panic attack, he’s been left wondering whether just trying to ask her to prom really made him a jerk.
Regardless of why Faith was upset with him, why do you think he didn’t get the hint and leave her alone? Should he have tried to ask her to prom, knowing she was still angry at him? How could he have better handled this situation?
