Months after she did end up surviving that ordeal, she learned that Dave hadn’t spent any time with her in the hospital because he was too busy with his friend.
“I can’t help but feel he tried to weaponize my situation to try to get her to soften up to him,” she said. “I feel like a second choice.”
Fast forward to today, and she and Dave are about to get a puppy, which Dave is bent on naming after his friend.
“We’re getting our first puppy together, and he wants to name it after her,” she continued. “It makes my blood boil, and my heart break all at once.”
“I was absolutely speechless when he told me he wanted to name it that. I’ve been daydreaming about getting this puppy for years, and now I don’t even want one.”
