This guy grew up with four cousins, three females and one male, who now have eight kids in total.

And apparently, he views his cousins like siblings and even calls their children his nieces and nephews.

That’s why he never forgets to send money for all of the kids’ special occasions. For instance, on birthdays, each child receives $50. Then, for Christmas and graduations, the kids get $100 each.

When his oldest son graduated, though, his 48-year-old male cousin and 44-year-old female cousin sent his son $100. At the same time, his other two female cousins– who are 48 and 40-years-old– did not even bother to call.

He didn’t think it was a huge deal, however, and simply moved on. But, later that same year, his 21-year-old niece graduated as well. So, he sent $100 as a congratulatory gift.

And this year, two more of his nephews are graduating, as well as one of his own kids. So, he sent both of his nephews $100 each, as he usually would.

But after he did that, his 48-year-old female cousin wound up giving a call and asking him where the rest of the graduation money was.

Obviously, he was confused and asked what she was talking about. At that point, he claimed his cousin started freaking out and screaming at him– saying he owed her son an additional $200.

“Because I have three kids, which in turn means my kids are going to get a total of $300 from them, yet I’m only spending $100 on her son,” he recalled.

Afterward, he tried to explain how $100 was always his budget for graduation gifts. And aside from that, he just did not have the funds to go any higher.

“Besides, it would be unfair for me to send her son $300, but the other nieces and nephews only get $100,” he reasoned.

Still, his cousin just kept insisting that he owed his nephew $300. And if he did not send the additional cash, his cousin claimed that his son needed to return the money he received for his graduation.

At that point, he was frustrated and decided to bring up the fact that his cousin did not even bother calling when his other son graduated or sending a monetary gift.

But, his cousin claimed that since she was a single mom, she shouldn’t be expected to “contribute” to his son. Then, his cousin proceeded to accuse him of being greedy, selfish, and money hungry.

He was honestly done with the conversation, though, and told his cousin that they would simply have to agree to disagree before hanging up the phone.

Yet, the drama was still far from over– because afterward, his cousin decided to call up the rest of their cousins to gossip about the situation.

Since then, the rest of his cousins have apparently “agreed” that he should give every single one of their children– not just the graduating children– $300!

So, he wound up calling them absurd, and now, he is actually banned from all of the family functions. They even went so far as to ban his mom, too.

Plus, after his daughter recently attended one of his nephew’s birthday parties, his cousin actually stole the birthday card right out of his daughter’s hands.

Then, his cousin actually opened the card, took out the $100 of birthday money inside– $50 of which was from his daughter herself– and threw the card back in his daughter’s face!

“And [my cousin] told my daughter that unless I send what is rightfully owed to my nephew, she can’t be a part of the family!” he revealed.

His mom has since told him to just apologize in order to keep the peace. On top of that, his mom claimed he should just provide each child with $300 in order to make amends.

But honestly, he lives paycheck to paycheck right now and just cannot afford to do that.

So, he’s been left wondering whether refusing to give his nephew $300 actually makes him a jerk or not.

Is it reasonable to expect him to give all of the children $300 each? Can you believe his mom and daughter were dragged into the drama, too? Do you think he is in the wrong or is his cousin the greedy one?
