His Sister-In-Law Wants Him To Get Rid Of His Bees Because Her Son Is Highly Allergic

He refuses to get rid of his bees, as he believes it would almost be equivalent to burning his land to the ground. Furthermore, the bees have been with his family for years, and “getting rid of them” would be ridiculous and inhumane.

Mary got very angry when he said no and accused him of prioritizing insects over his nephew. He told Mary that if the bees were such an issue, she could try hosting the party or keep her son indoors.

Plus, his brother-in-law is an EMT and could be there if anything happened with her son and the bees. But Mary was still very upset with him and hung up on him. Although his wife supports him, his argument with Mary has caused some drama on her side of the family.

“Now my mother-in-law is trying to convince my wife and I to just get rid of them to keep the peace,” he said.

“I get that the kid could die, but I don’t think it’s fair to demand that I give up my bees over a kid who I’ve known for less than a year.”

Is he being unreasonable for refusing to remove his bees, or is his sister-in-law making a ridiculous request?
